Gordon serves as a mediator in remote (Zoom) and in-person mediations for disputes pending in all states. He enjoys a reputation with opposing counsel, colleagues and clients as a highly successful litigation attorney and client problem solver, developed during more than forty-two years as a trial lawyer, mediator, and as associate general counsel for an international transportation and logistics company. He is perhaps the only transportation law mediator in the U.S. who served as an Air Force air traffic controller, and is a licensed private pilot. He has prominent expertise in all modes of transportation law, as well as extensive knowledge of insurance coverage issues, commercial litigation and contracting concerns, employment law, construction, real estate, and personal injury matters. He has served as a mediator in more than 200 cases in a wide area of legal disciplines, including transportation, business, insurance coverage, construction, employment, ADA, medical billing, real estate, dental malpractice, and personal injury. He has been assigned about fifty cases for resolution as a member of the Northern District of California Federal Court’s ADR panel.
